Install yarn on Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic Beaver LTS

Here is a quick snippet how to install yarn on Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic Beaver LTS.

I assume that you already installed Node.js on your server, otherwise you can check out our other tutorial how to install it.

First add the yarn repository to your system:

When done, install yarn:

If everything went well, typing in “yarn -v” should give you the following output (version may differ at your site):

That’s it. Now you have installed the latest version of yarn on your system and you’re gonna receive updates for yarn with your standard apt updates.
